The Value of Responsible Print
Message to RACG Members and Potential Members
It’s been a hard couple of years for small businesses, and that’s just as true for us as it is for many of you. Our commitment has always been to provide the simplest and most cost-effective path to FSC Certification possible, and we’ve had some great successes. That doesn’t change the fact that our industry is in a period of upheaval, and that through no fault of any of us, we’ve seen a significant reduction in the number of members in RACG.
To keep the group certificate viable, RACG and the Small Business Certification Network (SBCN) have decided to merge these two group certificates into one, working under the SBCN name.
This will have minimal impact on you, as the systems for the two groups are almost identical already but it will require a couple of key changes on your part.
American Green Consulting (AGC) will continue to act as the group manager and central office for the group certificate, which includes scheduling and conducting annual internal reviews. Expect to see invoices on the same schedule as prior years, but under the new name.
The merge is tentatively scheduled for January 30, 2026.

Printing Association Membership
As was previously the case, being an Association member provides numerous benefits. Current Association members can access a 15% discount code from their Association for FSC Certification through SBCN. Please contact your regional Association for this code when you want to become FSC Certified. For those not currently members of one of the regional printing Associations, please contact your closest Association to learn about the benefits of membership and also how to obtain the 15% discount for SBCN.
Regional Affiliate Certificate Group is a program developed by US Regional Printing Affiliates, for their members, to help open new markets and demonstrate your dedication to ensuring responsible forestry.
Approximately 200 RACG participants currently enjoy reduced certification costs, expert assistance with their certification process, and ongoing, responsive support whenever needed.
RACG provides group FSC® Chain of Custody Certification for Graphic Communications companies with wood products sales of up to $10 million. Companies with sales from $10-$100 million are individually certified through our Large Printer Program (LPP).
